Appointed Times
Hope you are having much Shalom -שלום- Peace,
in following these studies as I am in writing them.
We are studying which Feasts Messiah Yahoshua יהושע Kept, As reported in the Good News of John.
As all good stories go, there is a surprise ending to these pages, one that will shake some of the foundation that we thought
we stood on for years, and destroy what many end time prophecy mistranslations and interpretations use as base for their error.
Indeed, some sandy foundations are already beginning to
crumble.
Those who understand and follow the Feasts will see, But some
are so caught up in religion that blinders hide their view. We will see Prophecy come to light and view through
the Heavenlies the Latter Rain, where the Rainbow is seen through the clouds. A fresh look at end
time Prophecy will be like a breath of fresh air, as Ruach (Spirit) is sometimes translated wind, we will sense and feel His
touch. Because The Spirit is sometimes translated as wind, many feel the touch of demons in their midst, think it is Ruach Ha Kodesh, and follow the doctrines associated with this grave error. Some churches teach the wind
mentality to their congregations and rejoice when demons are among them, in error again simply because they have not an interpersonal
relationship enough with their true Master, and these doctrines of demons thrive among them. The
Still Small Voice of 0ur Master comes with a cool current from within yet He does not give us the chills.He comes from the
center of the mind with His Current that then flows to the rest of the body with a peacefull and calm soothing cool current.
He is not the heat that some feel when laid hands upon, or healing is requested through prayer. Vision is given to those who
have that gift, the one we can only have by being filled with the Right Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh (Spirit the Set Apart),
ONE (ECHAD-אחד) with Abba Father, YHVH - יהוה.
Remember, He Is a Spirit,
those who come to Him
must come in Spirit (Ruach) and in Truth.
Mashiach Yahoshua - משיח יהושע
Told us that we would be comforted by Ruach HaKodesh
Who
would come in His Name. Remember that Messiah came in His Fathers Name Yah, as in Halellu-Yah - praises
to Yah. The balance of Messiah's Name teaches us
what He does. Yah-Ho-Shua says YahVay is my Salvation Completed. He is The Father Who came in the flesh to pay our price. The Father came
in the flesh to Renew the Eternal Covenant made with His People. Since He paid with His Life, we are now eligible to become
His Bride again, and we will, at the Wedding Feast on the last and Eternal Day. Since Betrothal at the Last Supper, on The
Day of Preparation, we are His Betrothed in waiting, working on our wedding robes, making ready our lamps with Oil enough
to be there when the shout from The Best Man (Arch Angel) comes in the middle of the night-darkness and we trim our lamps
and go to meet Messiah and the wedding party. All of this has been rehearsed for millenniums by Hebrews of old commemorating
Prophecy to come, Yet, as the Wave Sheaf, they had no idea of what it meant. It is a rehearsal of our commitment to 'BE THERE' as His Bride in waiting. Why is it that only those who can Hear His Name can come to that
understanding? Vezot haBerachah וזאת הברכה
- And this is the blessing.He reveals His
Name to us by opening our understanding, because His Name is The Key Of Wisdom. This is where Wisdom
begins.
Those who will not hear remain in the dark? WHY?
That question should be easy to understand and answer. There are blessings for
those who Love His Name and take it to heart. There is a curse for those that could care less. It is all in Scripture!
With the Passover of John 2:13, we saw that Messiah
יהושע
attended both Passover and Feast of Unleavened
Bread. Pesach and Hag HaMatzot run together
for eight days from Aviv 14 through 21. These Feasts are Required by Torah as a Memorial
forever, and attendance to all who dwell in the land. On the 14th we killed the Passover lamb and ate it that evening
and on the first day of Unleavened Bread. These were celebrated when they were instituted, and followed every year as Prophetic
Rehearsals of our Messiah and the culmination of His Ministry on earth at His Resurrection.
Today we wait for Him to return and celebrate with Him the closing of His Earthly Ministry, for as you will see there remains
His Ministry to be completed. We will cover this with the Sanctuary Service and sprinkling of His Blood on the Mercy Seat.
The Day of Firstfruits
Yom HaBikkurim יום הבכורים - Day of First Fruits, means
"A Promise to Come." It may sound strange but the Israelites were never told what the Wave
Sheaf of First Fruits symbolized. They kept this Feast for many centuries in obedience to יהוה, Even though they understood not its significance.
The Wave Sheaf of First Fruits
was the first harvest of
the spring, and at this time there were many fruits ripened and ready to
eat. The land owner brought the first picked fruit into the Temple as a special sacrifice. The Resurrection not only brought Messiah out from the grave, but many graves opened and the Risen of
the Set Apart Ones were seen in the Set Apart City-Jerusalem, as they appeared to many. Those graves were opened and were
resurrected Early First Fruits. Mattithyahu 27:50-53.
The Command is set forth in the Torah. Shemot 23:14-17, Exodus
Three
times in the year you are to observe a Festival to Me:
Guard the Festival of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you eat
unleavened
bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Aviv -- for in it you came out of Mitsrayim (Egypt) -- and do not appear before Me empty handed; and the Festival of the Harvest, the Firstfruits of your labors
which you have sewn in the field; and the Festival of the Ingathering at the outgoing of the year, when you have gathered
in the fruit of your labor from the field. Three times in the year all your males are to appear before the Master יהוה.
The command to observe these Three Feasts
is Torah (Law), set down as a memorial
forever.
Vayyiqra 23: 10-11,14 (Leviticus), When
you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the Firstfruits of your
harvest to the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before יהוה, for your acceptance, on the morrow
after the Sabbath the priest waves it.... And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that
you have brought an offering to your Elohim -- a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings
These are serious instructions. His commands are all that we need to follow, and we do not
need to understand right
now exactly what He means, just
follow. Remember we are to eat the Passover (Word) with
our shoes on our feet, our
staff in our hand, and in haste.
We receive His Word without religious
leaven, as we walk,
as we Live, and we receive it quickly.
The shadow picture of the early Firstfruits - Wave Sheaf
before
יהוה, were shadows of our Messiah's Resurrection
clearly marked down throughout His-Story, A Promise to Come, that we would know which Elohim
- אלהים - Mighty One we worship, and none but His could enter into our Covenant with
Him. We are the culmination today of that shadow picture waiting for our Master to come again and do with us as He pleases.
We wait for His arrival, expecting as we wait, knowing that for all of History these prophecies were written in stone and
will not fail. We are here to witness the closing moments of current world history as we know it. In His
honor we were called to this moment, and few can hear the Call.
Today we are in wait of the final Feast - a closing festival -
our Resurrection
- the Feast of Sukkot - חג הסוכות
that we
discussed in the first part of this message briefly. He came
on Sukkot to Tabernacle with us the first
time. He will come
again at חג
הסוכות for
the final Harvest at The Ingathering, and our Latter First Fruit offering, Our Living Sacrifice to Him.
The Wave Sheaf is the day after the
Shabbat after Pesach - Passover.
Pesach - פסח is Day Fourteen of the first month Aviv,
established at the first Passover, And is the day of preparation for the Feast of Unleavened Bread,
a Shabbat. Lev 23:5.
Our Lunar Cycle
We begin our first month Aviv, with the conjunction
of the
New Moon (No Moon) Rosh Chodesh, our Monthly Shabbat.
With the sighting of the first sliver of the New Moon over
the western horizon at sunset, our New Moon Shabbat ends and day two begins our first regular work
day.
From here we count one Shavua שבוע - seven days, and the
eighth
day is a Shabbat - שבת the
first day also being a שבת.
Another Shavua - שבוע to the next Shabbat - שבת which
is Day Fifteen of Aviv, First Day of Unleavened Bread חג המצות 'א.
Day Fourteen is our Day of Preparation
- Passover, פסח - Pesach on which our Messiah was Sacrificed. The day following
begins The Feast of unleavened Bread, day Fifteen, a Shabbat. The Wave Sheaf is the first day after the Shabbat after Passover. Messiah was still in the Grave
His second day, and the day following was His Resurrection and many Graves were opened.
Count another Shavua to the next Shabbat,
and again to
the last Shabbat of that month,
the 29th day of our Lunar cycle.
Our Joy for the Rest of YHVH Will remain, for the next
day is again, Rosh Chodesh, New Moon Day, (no
moon).
This is the long monthly Rest of Two days running,
and
at sunset we look for the first sliver of the
New Moon
which will end our long monthly
Sabbath and begin our first work day.
Should the First Sliver not be sighted, we remain in
Shabbat now Three days running,
and work begins
on the next day, with or without first sighting.
Supporting Scripture
Bereshit 1:14 (Genesis), And Elohim said, Let lights come to be in the expanse
of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for Moadim, and for days and years.
Yirmeyahu 31:35-36 (Jeremiah), Thus said יהוה, Who gives
the sun for a light by day, and the laws of the moon and
the
stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, and it's waves
roar -- יהוה of hosts is His Name: If these laws vanish from
before
Me, declares יהוה, then
the seed of Yisra'el shall also
cease from being a nation before Me forever.
Tehillim 89:35-37(Psalms),
I do not lie to David:
his seed shall be forever, and his throne as the sun
before Me; Like the moon, it is established
forever,
And the witness in the heaven is steadfast. Selah.
Amos 8:5, When does the
new moon pass so that we sell
grain, and the Sabbath so that we trade our wheat....
Yeshayahu 66:23 (Isaiah), And it shall come to pass, that from
one Rosh Chodesh (New
Moon) to another, and from one Shabbat
to another,
all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says יהוה.
The Moadim - Appointed times were set by our Creator.
Who can annul them? Our New
Moons remain that we may
worship and honor our Creator יהוה in His prescribed manner, that we go not whoring after lies and falsehood. He did not leave us comfortless, for He
gave us His Written Word for a Beacon, and His Ruach HaKodesh Who Is Himself for a Lamp
unto my feet, and a light unto my path, that guides us into all Truth. His Truth has been
recorded for us, and even with error from translations that have infiltrated them, we can still find His Truth written boldly
for all to Hear, that there is only ONE Who Reigns in the Heavenlies,
יהוה Is His Name.
Feast of Shavuot - חג השבועות
The Next Feast in our study follows exactly with
the Biblical record in Vayiqra 23:15-16, Leviticus
And
from the Morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that
you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count
for
yourselves: seven complete Sabbaths. Until the morrow
after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you
shall
bring a new grain offering to יהוה
....V-21, And on this
same day you shall proclaim a set-apart gathering for
yourselves, you do no servile work on it -- a law forever
in
all your dwellings throughout your generations.
Both Josephus and Philo follow the counting from the second day of Unleavened Bread.
Lev 23:15 says 'Seven Sabbaths', and V:16 'fifty days.' When counting
Seven Sabbaths, we are actually counting the fourth Sabbath through Rosh Chodesh as one unit or day. Otherwise we are not
counting Sabbaths but only solar days which clearly fall short of Seven Sabbaths. Hebrew months, years, and Feasts, are calculated
by the Lunar Cycle. To consider a Solar Cycle to Sabbaths only brings us into the confusion we are in. The confusion is when
we equate the Greek Pentecost (Fiftieth) to Lunar Sabbaths which could number as many as Fifty-three solar days to Shavuot.
By combining Lunar and Solar together, we lose the true Shavuot, and find ourselves following religions of men.
That brings us to the next Feast that Yahoshua attended
in
John 5:1, After this there was a festival of the
Yehudim,
and Yahoshua went up to Yerushalayim.
Feast of Shavuot
- חג השבועות Is required
by TORAH to attend, to all who dwell in the land, and our
Messiah in obedience to TORAH attended Shavuot as required by TORAH. This is the Feast after Passover-Unleavened Bread, and is celebrated Seven
Shavua plus one day after the morrow after the Sabbath following Pesach Lev 23:5 (Passover). The Shabbat following Pesach is the 15 day of Aviv, Unleavened
Bread. Shabbat's fall on the First, Eighth,
Fifteenth, Twenty Second, and Twenty Ninth day of the Month. The 29th through the First of the following month is our long
monthly Shabbat.
It matters not what the traditions are.
Yahoshua said,
You have made void the
Word of יהוה by your traditions.
We are to keep these Feasts according to the
way they were instituted. Any other
way is following after
man and his traditions that pervert the WORD. Only by
following
the Feasts of YHVH can and do we understand
the True meaning of our Messiah and Why He Came.
Chose you this day Whom you will follow, as for me and my house we will follow יהוה. Yehoshua 24:15 Joshua.
The Sheaf is waved and we begin to count the Omar.
The day after Seven Shavua is the requirement of TORAH. That day is the day we celebrate our freedom
from slavery of rebellion, and we are made new by the Ruach HaKodesh, For that is the day that
Ruach was given to man. This is the day that man began to have יהוה living within the Temple that
יהוה Had prepared for Himself within mankind.
Acts 2:3-4, And there appeared to them divided tongues,
as of fire, and settled on each one of them. And they were
filled
with the Set Apart Spirit and began to speak with
other tongues, as the Spirit gave them the utterance.
Mishpochah-Family, this day does not
fall on any Pagan day or date. These are the Feasts of YHVH. The world runs on a
different
calendar. We are not of this world for the world would
love its own and follow the times of the world. We are the Called
and Chosen. Called to witness these last days and chosen
to take
the Word to the nations. The end cannot come until there is a
falling away first, a falling away from sound
doctrine.
Friends, we have experienced this falling away for the world
follows after the Beast and the cup of her
abominations, she
being drunk with the blood of the Saints, holds it in her hand.
We are instructed to Come out of her My people, lest you share
in her sins, and lest
you receive of her plagues. Rev 18:4.
May I make a suggestion concerning the Command of Rev 18:4?
Come out of the religious
system and the worldly church system
who tread on the Commandments of יהוה and practice lawlessness.
These are the churches who preach that the Torah
has been done
away with. These are the churches that preach the breaking of
the Seal of the Living Elohim, the Fourth
Commandment Sabbath,
and as the Scriptures say, go whoring after strange mighty ones .
Come out of her My people, that you not partake of
her plagues, This is the church that teaches the false
doctrine of the Rapture, and say they are out of
here
before the trouble, all contrary to Scripture.
To The Religious Leaders.
Remember the parable of the Vineyard?
A certain man planted a vineyard and lent it out to
keepers. When He sent servants for the
fruits,
the keepers stoned, beat and killed those sent.
The Vineyard are His beloved people Israel. Isaiah 5:7.
The keepers are the religious leaders.
The Servants are the Prophets.
His only Son Sent was Messiah, whom they also killed, that
they could keep the vineyard,
the beloved Saints-His people,
to remain in authority and collect their 10% religion
tax, and devour the vineyard.
What then shall the Owner of the Vineyard do?
He shall come and destroy the keepers, and give the vineyard to others. Mark 12:9
Have you not read the Scriptures, the Stone
which the builders rejected has
become the
Chief Corner-stone? V-10
Put down your Idols.
The Jewish Messiah is no longer in the flesh, He
is back
on His Throne that He left to walk with us as a man. Messiah
always referred worship to The Father and
away from Himself
in the flesh. Paganim has always has a flair for worship of the flesh.
Is it any
different today?
YHVH Is One, and His Name One.
Answering Rebuttals
Opponents will want to quote Col 2:15-23. Instead of
quoting their error, I will just quote
The Scripture properly.
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show
of them openly, triumphing
over them in it. Let no individual
man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect
of a moed (appointed time) or of the Rosh Chodesh (New Moon)
or of the Sabbath days: Which are shadows of things to come;
except the Yisraelite body of
HaMashiach.
He has made a show of them openly through His Word, and they are not to judge after the
Feasts we keep according to Scripture, for we follow in the shadow of what is to come. The only ones that can judge us is
the body of Messiah. These are those who follow after Messiah, not those who go after Pagan false teachings.
Let no man beguile you of your reward, Who?
One who takes delight in false humility and worship of heavenly
messengers,
spiritually standing on things he has not seen,
empty-headed things created by his fleshly mind.
Let not these deprive you, for they,
and not holding
fast to the Head, which all the body
knit together by joints and ligaments receives nourishmentgrows with
the growth of Elohim.
These that judge you do according to the world and not
after
the Word. Therefore if you died with Mashiach from the
elements of the olem hazeh (world) why,
as though living in
the olam hazeh (world) do you subject yourselves to ordinances.
Regulations
after the world it says.
Touch not, taste not, handle not which all are to perish with
mans using; after the
commandments and teachings of men.
Self explanatory.
Who's rules have a show of wisdom in positive attitude, human
will worship, or self-humiliation
of the body type worship, and
neglecting of the body type worship; but these have no
eternal value for the satisfying
and parading of the flesh.

In other words, Let not the Pagans Judge You after
the world, and not after Messiah,
Who is יהוה in the flesh.

Now, if we are judged by the TORAH תורה and we follow after
the
appointed times of YHVH, who will judge those who follow
after Paganism in violation of all
that יהוה has taught, and all
that Yahoshua
Has followed? Judgment comes to the rebellious
who follow after commandments of men. It is not by the works
of
TORAH - תורה
that we are saved but by belief in following
the One and Only Who reigns in the Heavenlies.
It is not by works of TORAH but Faith in all that is taught by our Creator and following Him alone.
Does not the Scripture say that we must do more than believe, we must also follow? TORAH is like a fence
around the yard, our boundary line, parameter, schoolmaster.

Challenge!
All Twelve gates Into New Jerusalem
are named after one of the Tribes of Israel.
Messiah said, "I come only for the
lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Through which gate do you enter?
To the Torah and to the testimony: if they speak
not according to this Word,
it is because there
is no light in them. ISIAH 8:20
Isaiah is an old Testament Scripture.
What is he referring to "According
to this Word?"
