A Walk with Messiah
Yahoshua
through the Good
News Of John
HE Walks:We Follow
The
best way to understand our Walk is to re-examine how
our Messiah walked concerning Days and Feasts and Torah,
since
it is He, by Whom we are to measure our Walk.
In this Walk With Messiah, The Original Names are
used in Honor of keeping The Third Commandment to
'Not
bring the Name of our Creator to nothing.' As in
all literary Science of any importance, Proper Names
are always transliterated and never substituted. Here
we will follow both Scriptural instruction
and Literary
Science, and you will be Blessed. It is hoped that you
will enjoy our Walk through Hebrew Scripture,
with a Hebrew Mind set that will be understood
from their original Language.
<< Remember that Hebrew is read from Right to Left. <<

Right from read is Hebrew that Remember <<
This mini study will examine the Original Feasts that
Yahoshua HaMashiach - יהושע
המשיח - Yahoshua The Messiah
attended during His Ministry and according to Torah. They are listed in proper
order in the Good News of יוחנן Yochanan (John).
The Hebrew Feasts
were instituted by our Creator in TORAH,
kept even today by His Wife, and preserved throughout
Her
generations according to the instruction in His Word.
The
Feasts Messiah Kept
We begin our study at the Beginning.
Bereshit
1:1- בראשית - Genesis
1:1
בראשית ברא
אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ
The First Thing Elohim
Did Is
Create The Heavens And The Earth.
יוחנן Yohanan 1:1 (John)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with Elohim, and the
Word was Elohim.
יוחנן Yochanan 1:14 John
And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent
among
us,
and we saw His esteem, esteem as of the only brought
forth of the Father, complete in favor and truth.
John 1:14 was the first prophetic fulfillment of
The Feast of Sukkot -
חג הסוכות, Booths, Tabernacles,
Vayyiqra 23:34 (Leviticus). The Feast
of Sukkot begins on
Tishiri 15 and lasts for one Shavua (Seven days), plus an
Eighth day-The last
great day - Shemini Atzeret - שמיני
עצרת.
Tishri
is the Seventh Hebrew Month and corresponds to either
September or October, on the Pagan Gregorian calendar.
יוחנן John 1:14 records the Birth of
Messiah Yahoshua - יהושע.
Who came to dwell with us. The word Sukkah, as in
The Word became flesh and Sukkah'ed among us, also means
Tabernacle, Manger, Live, Dwell, as when the Yisraelites in Exodus lived in tents
in the desert for 40 years, and YHVH - יהוה dwelt with them in The Tent He gave instructions for
them to build for Him to dwell in, Sukkah
in, Tabernacle in, Manger in, with them. This is the Set Apart Place and the
Most
Set Apart Place that was in smoke by day and fire by
night.
When they were to move to another location, the
smoke and fire would lift and move for them to follow, as
we are to follow
יהוה
in all that He does and wherever He leads.
When Yosef (Joseph), husband of Miriam (Mary) went to
Beit Lechem
(House of Bread - Bethlehem) it was for two
reasons. To pay taxes, but the main focus was to keep the
Feast of Sukkot - חג
הסוכות, and is where Yosef built
a Sukkah to live in for the seven days of the Feast, to keep and honor the Feast
of Booths, Tabernacles, Sukkot. Mary could have stayed at the INN but because of the Feast there were no rooms left
anywhere, so she joined her husband in the Sukkah where she gave birth to her first born Son Yahoshua - יהושע
on Tishri 15,
in the Sukkah, not in a feeding trough in a stable.
The forty years that the Yisraelite's lived in tents in the wilderness
were all in the shadow of the Coming of Messiah,
and literally how He would come. The Feasts of
YHVH
were instituted Prophetic Rehearsals, that we would recognize Him
when He came and not follow
after pagan false deities. Our trouble in understanding these Feasts
and the Prophecy they contain is, when translated into Greek they loose much of their meanings
and fragrance, and steal from us a personal
understanding of our Roots. This discussion will think in Hebrew
and restore
the Hebrew ness of our heritage.
The
second prophetic fulfillment of the
Feast of Sukkot - חג הסוכות
Is found in Rev 20:4,
And they lived and reigned with Messiah for one thousand
years.
זכריה Zechariah
14:16
And
it shall be that all who are left from all the gentiles which
came up against Yerushalayim ( Jerusalem)
shall go up from year
to year to bow themselves to the King of Kings יהוה of hosts,
and to observe the Festival of Booths.
This fulfillment will be
during the Seventh Day.
The New Jerusalem will be there, and will have Twelve Gates to
the city, each named after one of the Twelve Tribes of
Israel.
Revelation 21:9-14
Come, I shall show you the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high
mountain, and showed me the great city, the Set Apart Yerushalayim, descending out of heaven from Elohim....and having a great
and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written upon them, which are those of
the
twelve tribes of the children of Yisra'el: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and
three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations and on them were the names of the
twelve emissaries
of the Lamb.
It is important to recognize that the Scriptures
say "The Bride,
The
Lamb's Wife." It is also important to notice that the only
gates into The City have names of the Twelve Tribes
of Israel.
There are no gates with names of any of the religions of the world, or any form of mans teachings. The foundations
are also one each of the Tribes Of Israel. Is it any wonder that Messiah said, "I Am sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel?"
Many church leaders
who think they are the Lamb's wife consider that they must have replaced Israel as His Bride, since they approach Scripture
with the pre-conceived notion that they are the ones He came for, so it must be them that are Israel.
Not!
I ask everyone,
"By which gate will you enter the New Jerusalem?"
There
are no gates titled by any church, synagogue, mosque,
chapel, or religion.
Verse 24 says, And the Gentiles, of those who are saved shall
walk in it's
light. By the time you have read these pages, it is
hoped that you will understand from which Rock you were hewn,
and by Whom you have been chosen, and to Whom you are given.
It is very important Mishpochah (Family), to understand the
Ministry of your Messiah. Many facets of His Ministry are
not
taught in most churches. On candleinthedarkness.net we cover
some of what Greek thinking churches fail to understand about
a Jewish Hebrew Messiah
Who kept the Torah and all the Commanded Feasts, and Walked according to all that is taught
in the TORAH.
Messiah taught from the TaNaK - Pre Messianic Scriptures.
They are recorded in the Renewed Covenant,
New Testament, WORD of YHVH, But they are misunderstood and overlooked
in Greek thought. Most think the TORAH and all the Pre Messianic
Scriptures do not apply today.
If you consider there are
Parameters we are to live by, and that those boundaries are
for our safety, no different
than the parameters we set for
our beloved children, you may begin to view TORAH as the fencethat keeps us within eye-shot of our Shepherd. It is when we wander away from our safety
net that we encounter the wolf, the lion, and the bear. David encountered these to save his sheep that wandered beyond the
safety zone. Today we are faced with the same choices. Do we stay within the parameters of our instructions,or wander into
outer darkness to be devoured by the enemy.
The TORAH תורה is
our boundary line.
It is a well defined instruction Manuel for all to follow,
including
Messiah Who kept all of the TORAH-תורה
and all
of the Feasts that we were instructed in, and
set the example
for us as the only acceptable way to worship our Creator.
Moshe-משה (Moses)
went up to the Mountain to receive the
TORAH and the Tablets of Stone we know as the
Ten
Commandments - Ten Words - דברים -
Debarim.
While he was gone those forty days the people became wrestles
and demanded that Aaron-אהרן make for them an idol, and they
received a golden calf for them to worship YHVH
through. They
were sincere and just wanted to do it the way they did it in
Mitsrayim (Egypt), to worship YHVH
through an idol.
Read the story, Shemot 32 - Exodus. Was our Creator
pleased with their outward display of affection?
More than 3,000 men fell that day.
Messiah kept all TORAH as instructed.
We are
going to walk through the Good News of
John with Messiah Yahoshua and examine what is the way
instructed in TORAH-תורה
and kept by our Blessed Messiah.
